Ewe, is the language of million people, is spoken in the extreme south-eastern corner of the Gold Coast and in the British and French Mandated Territories of Togoland. It has a considerable School and Church Literature, and its importance for the Gold Coast administrator, missionary or trader, is second only to Twi.
